It was built based on a hierarchy of geometric recoils that lessen the impact on the urban surroundings. The building's exterior image reflects a modern style of sober lines, through glazed surfaces with the size of the floors, interspersed with opaque elements of the same size, in a balanced composition of volumes and spans.
On the other hand, the interior patios provide natural light, creating a pleasant working space.
Indoors, the building is equipped with high technology and security devices that make the Judiciary Police new headquarters one of the most advanced corporate buildings in Portugal.
This high-quality work allows the Judiciary Police to return to its original matrix, concentrating all services in a single building, with benefits of operational efficiency.
The intervention of KOMAT services essentially corresponded to the compartmentalization of interior spaces and wall coverings with a consumption of plasterboard of about 110,000 Sqm.
On the exterior ceilings it was installed for the first time in Portugal, the cement slab of Canadian origin from Permabase brand, represented by our company.
In the auditorium and in the Regie, we covered the floor with carpet in order to enhance high sound absorption, also providing better comfort.
We also covered the walls with Vescom vinyl wallpaper.
