Opened in September 2018, it already has thousands of students enrolled, fascinated by its exclusive Curricular Offer.

Allied to its privileged location in front of Carcavelos beach, the building has an area of over 66,000 Sqm, surrounded by large gardens, opened to the community, guaranteeing an excellent quality of university life.

This spatial concept is the best receptacle for a new, more pleasant lifestyle, offering a welcoming and comfortable environment that stimulates new teaching approaches, focused on collaborative learning.

KOMAT participated in this important project, with the aim of providing the best comfort, thermic and acoustic conditions in all interior spaces.

We have installed plasterboard acoustic ceilings (38,000Sqm) in the Circulation areas, Classrooms, Offices and Auditoriums.

Water-repellent ceilings in the toilets and kitchens in the residential area.

Permabase ceilings on the balconies, Outer Atrium and Elevation of the Grand Auditorium.

The compartmentalization was carried out with removable partitions of our Elegance line, creating translucent spaces with the application of high acoustic cut double glass and opaque areas with wood finishing with integrated cabinets in the Administrative Offices, Teachers' Rooms, Library, Classrooms, ascending to an area greater than 3000 Sqm.

Thanks to the installation of our Acoustic Movable Walls, we allow flexibility in the space usage according to the occupancy needs. Allowing thus the division of areas into Classrooms, Library and Administrative Area.

We also emphasize the application of 20,000 Sqm of vinyl flooring in the Auditoriums, Classrooms, Residential Areas, being in ruler format in the Offices and Administrative Rooms.

In the Grand Auditorium, we have covered a generous area with carpet, in order to enhance excellent acoustic absorption and to provide greater comfort! In this area we have also installed the additional structural element in LSF.
